Chakula Blog
We started Chakula Blog in the winter of 2008, just a few months after we were married. Josh designs websites as a side business and I love to write. We both love to cook, to discover new restaurants, and to be in community with people who share similar interests. This journal is a great outlet to share stories, experiences, and thoughts on food with others who might be interested. We love comments, discussion, and recommendations!
Get on Dining
Jeremy & Crystal approached us with a great idea: to develop a website that promotes great independent restaurants. Jeremy expressed that in this economy the really amazing mom-n-pops places are dropping off the map. We caught the vision too and decided to team up with Jeremy & Crystal to support local indie restaurants... Thus Get on Dining was born. With Get on Dining you can search for popular, independent, and inexpensive restaurants in various cities and neighborhoods. Painting
Visual art is something I've toyed with years ago; it has recently resurfaced as another outlet for me to process experiences and life lessons. This is the first of hopefully many paintings; there's lots of ideas going on upstairs now!
